Hydrostatic pressure

The pressure of a fluid at rest created by the weight of the layers above.

The deeper the point and the denser the liquid, the greater the pressure; at the same depth in a fluid at rest it is the same.

Pressure is equal to the force perpendicular to the surface divided by the area.

Definition of pascal
